Denali Home Design was founded to alleviate any potential stresses that come with the design and building permit processes for residential construction. We are an architectural design firm that specializes in the professional design and production of architectural drawings that are crucial for your dream home.

We are registered with the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and fully insured to work all over Ontario. We work in conjunction with vast range of professionals including; Professional Engineers & Architects, Qualified Building Officials, Technologists and designers in multiple disciplines.
Lucas Herrera
LEAD DESIGNER
Lucas has an extensive background with residential construction specializing in the southern Ontario region. He holds a diploma from Mohawk College after completing their Construction Engineering Technician – Building Renovation Program as well as an advanced diploma for their Architectural Technology. Lucas has been in the construction industry for nearly 10 years starting as a carpenter with years of experience in custom home framing and then extensive full home renovations. He later decided to pursue a career as a Municipal Building Inspector which is where he realized the need for Denali Home Design. Seeing the frustrations and stress that can accompany the design and approval of a building permits. He is a fulltime municipal building inspector with previous experience in both St. Catharines and Hamilton’s building department.
When Lucas wants to relax, he still likes to keep busy with his wide variety of hobbies ranging from playing golf to small woodworking projects, but his biggest passion is sports cars and motorcycles.
